BEC is here to help you understand your rights and obligations
under the tax law, and make it easier for you to meet your
tax responsibilities.
If you need help completing your tax return, we can provide
a referral to an ATO's TAX
HELP volunteer. TAX HELP is a free and confidential service
for people on incomes of $40,000 or less, including, but not
restricted to, those who are also seniors, students, people
from non-English speaking backgrounds, people with a disability,
or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We are also agents for NSW Fair
Trading which administers fair trading laws and looks after
the rights of consumers. We can offer advice to businesses
and traders on fair and ethical practices, as well as inform
about their rights and responsibilities.
